The 2016 Conference saw over 100 attendees from 22 U.S. States, ​3 Canadian Provinces and 3 countries. It was held from Tuesday, June 14th through Friday, June 17th  in Oneida (Green Bay), Wisconsin. ​It examined the historical relationship between the Episcopal and Anglican Church with Indigenous Peoples in North America.

  • Opening worship was held at Church of the Holy Apostles, Oneida. A reception was held with display by the Oneida Indian Historical Association highlighting its history with the Episcopal Church. there was a performance by the Oneida Hymn Singers of Wisconsin, the 2008 NEA National Heritage Fellow.
  • An interactive learning experience, the Blanket Exercise taught Indigenous rights history in a way we’re rarely taught.
  • Toured the Oneida Reservation, including the quarry where the Oneida got stone for building Holy Apostles.
  • Visited the Neville Public Museum and tour its collection of over 100,000 artifacts.
  • Enjoyed a variety of panels, papers, presentations and workshops addressing the conference topic.
  • Co-sponsors the Historical Society of the Episcopal Church, the National Episcopal Historians and Archivists and the Episcopal Women's History Project held annual meetings during the conference.

The Conference took place at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center.
